About Dr. Barry McCarthy:

He is a distinguished professor of psychology at American University, where he has taught courses on human sexuality, couples therapy, and integrative behavioral couple therapy. Dr. McCarthy is widely recognized for his groundbreaking research and clinical work on sexual desire and intimacy, making him a sought-after authority in the field. He has authored numerous books and articles, including "Rekindling Desire: A Step-by-Step Program to Help Low-Sex and No-Sex Marriages," which has been recognized as a seminal work in couples therapy.
