Advanced Training for Clinicians
The Olsen Institute provides advanced training for clinicians on critical topics related to sexual and relational intimacy. We are committed to producing, collecting and disseminating empirical knowledge on these subjects in a manner that is engaging and clinically relevant. Check back often, as additional training events are being added to our schedule regularly.
The Olsen Institute is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Olsen Insititute maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
The Olsen Institute is approved by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) to sponsor continuing education events. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification. Completion of our programs do not ensure or guarantee AASECT certification. Research and Development
The Olsen Institute is committed to advancing the sexual and relational well-being of all through original research, systematic reviews of research, theoretical development, resource development, establishment of current best practices, and engaging in scholarly debate. We believe that many topics have received far too little empirical attention in the past and are committed to doing out part to fill those voids and to help to close the scientist-practitioner divide.
